Oh COME ON! Learn to drive already. Sigh. Got out to my car and found it like this.
Fuck people who dont leave notes. Saw 4 nice non damaged 350Z's on the five minute drive to my GFs house. The universe is mocking me. Clearly i've done something wrong.
Edit: Thanks for the kind words everyone. And yes, i took the picture after i'd moved the car. It was originally facing the other direction and parked at the corner of the street.

awful news. Maybe its an excuse to get a modest/tasteful kit now? Not sure how insurance would go about that though. They seem to only like replacing with stock.

This was after i got back from my girlfriend's house. It was parked on the other side of the street, at the corner and they must have tagged me as they were turning.

Naw, i was parked on the other side of the street when it happened, at the corner of the street. They tagged it making a right turn with the right rear of their car.

I moved the car before taking this particular photo. Funnily enough this is the second time i've come out to find my bumper all fucked up while it was parked. The other time, someone on foot did definitely tear it off, since i was parked in a lot and there was no way to get to the car from the front. That time someone just jumped on the front end of the car until the bumper broke off.
I also have a fat scratch across nearly the entire hood of my car where presumably someone decided to slide across it and had something metal in their jeans.

Damn, and now that i remember.... on my previous car someone did this to me, but it was a scratch, like it took paint off my bumper. Im pretty sure i knew the motherfuckers, because it was outside a friends house at his party. And they may have been drunk when they took off.

That sucks. I replaced my quarter panel because someone backed into it, only to have someone hit it again and not leave a note. Meanwhile I left a note because I backed into an audi. $400 later....

He said it was originally facing the other direction. FTNH.... Boil up a couple of pans of boiling water and pour it slowly over the dent. Smile like crazy when it pops out all by itself. (if you're lucky)

I dont know of the hot water trick. I assume its for reshaping bumpers? Anyway too late now, I already have insurance taking care of it. the good news is that my deductible is only 300 bucks since it was a hit and run while the car was parked. Body shop estimate is 1500 dollars, a lot of that due to the fender actually being messed up, despite visually appearing to be fine. Still, that's 300 bucks i could've spent on other stuff...stuff i actually want.
Next time i'll try the hot water trick.
